One person died in Davao del Sur while scores of families in the city evacuated as Tropical Storm Dante continues to pour heavy rains in Davao Region as it intensifies placing some areas in Eastern Samar to Signal 2 as of Tuesday morning, June 1.

Oil spill in Misamis Oriental coast near extraction

The coastal areas affected by an oil spill from a sunken cargo ship is now slowly returning to normal, a village official said on April 19.

Oil spill in Jasaan town in MisOr worries fishing community

An old cargo ship docked five years ago in a shipyard in Barangay Lower Jasaan town in Misamis Oriental sank early morning on April 3 which resulted to oil spill affecting the fishing community there.
