Persons behind Korean trash mess to face charges, says Customs exec

Appropriate charges will be filed against those behind the importation of about 6,500 tons of plastic trash following their reshipment back to Pyeongtaek City, South Korea, a Bureau of Customs-10 (BOC-10) official said.

PH, S. Korea agree to ship back tons of plastic wastes

After the entry here of several tons of imported discarded plastic materials sparked a national outcry, the governments of South Korean and the Philippines have decided to ship back the garbage to its country of origin.
