Cotabato rubber tappers, farmers wriggle in pain over fall of rubber price

Thousands of rubber tappers and small farmers demonstrated in the streets of a town near the provincial capital of North Cotabato on Monday to call on government to intervene in the fall of rubber prices since 2012.

On the second year anniversary of typhoon Pablo (International name Bopha), survivors and support groups claimed that they remained displaced, this time by what they claimed was an insensitive relocation program of the government.
