NDF says Army aerial bombings, not NPA presence, force Lumads to evacuate

The National Democratic Front of the Philippines in Southern Mindanao denied reports that the evacuation of Lumads in a village in Davao Oriental last week was brought about by the presence of the New People’s Army.

MNLF-Sema faction urges gov’t to resolve issues of GPH-MNLF 1996 peace accord

A Moro National Liberation Front faction has urged Malacañang to resolve the three remaining issues on territory, provisional government and definition and sharing of revenues of strategic minerals to complete the government commitment to pass an amended law to implement the final peace agreement they reached in 1996.
