DAVAO CITY, Philippines — The commander of the Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom), General Rodolfo Obaniana, clarified today in a press statement that his command did not campaign for any particular candidate, especially for administration bets.
Instead, he admitted that he and his unit have been vigorously campaigning against partylist organizations that, according to him, support the communist New People?s Army (NPA).
MANILA — President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo called on the country?s physicians today to join her in efforts to make economic prosperity, social justice and peace and security a reality “for a new modernizing Philippines.”
