DAVAO CITY – Four members of the Army were wounded after an encounter with the New People’s Army on Thursday afternoon in Loreto, Agusan del Sur.
Members of the 26th Infantry Battalion recovered three unexploded improvised explosive device (IEDs), two rolls of electrical wires measuring 150 and 160 meters, five liters gasoline, four backpacks, raincoat, tent, assorted empty shells of high powered firearms, sim cards and a medical kit in Barangay Binucayan, Loreto, Agusan del Sur at 2:35 p.m.
The wounded soldiers were immediately brought to Patin-ay Hospital, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
