DAVAO CITY – Troops from the 4th Scout Ranger Battalion apprehended three alleged members of the New Peoples Army at Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon at 8:00 am on Sunday.
The three were identified by the military as Henry P Omandam alias Empoy, 19 years old; Vergel Pitogo alias Marmar, 23 years old; and a minor aged 16 years old.
Col. Romeo Brawner, spokesperson of the Eastern Mindanao Command, in a statement said the troops recovered one landmine, one ammunition of M203 and two (2) t-shirts with NPA logo from the suspects.
Brawner said the three were turned over to the Quezon Municipal Police Station in the afternoon of the same day for formal investigation.
