DAVAO CITY – A dead man was found floating in Davao River at around 8:00 am on Sunday (May 17).
The victim had a dark complexion and looked more or less 30 years old. The victim was also wearing blue shorts and blue shirt with markings “I LOVE SG”.
The victim was found floating near the concrete dike of Bolton Bridge by Inocencio Quiamco Banga, 69, a resident of Purok 22-A, Malamboon, Ecoland. Banga found the body while he was collecting plastic along the river.
Banga carried the dead body from the river and immediately reported the incident to the authorities.
Further investigation revealed that the said victim was the same person who reportedly drowned at Davao River particularly at Bolton Bridge at around 2:00 PM of Saturday (May 16). (Diana C. Tomale/davaotoday.com)
