DAVAO CITY – In celebration of JCI Week, the Junior Chamber International prepared different activities and projects with different beneficiaries.
One of the projects they have prepared is the “Libro Para sa Batang Bangsamoro Project” in which they will donate used books and reading materials to Bangsamoro kids.
They recently conducted “Camp Pag-asa Project” for 120 kids with Down syndrome condition.
The group will also hold “Pedestrian Painting” on May 24.
“We intend to do this on the last week of May just in time before the opening of the classes. We have identified four public schools which are Maa Elementary School, Maa National Highschool, Cabantian National Highschool and Catalunan Grande Elementary School,” said Jun Po, President of JCI-Central Davao.
JCI is a non-profit international non-governmental organization of young people between 18 to 40 years old. It encourages young leaders to be responsible and participate in projects which will benefit the community.
