DAVAO CITY – Five people were arrested here on Wednesday in a buy bust operation conducted by the San Pedro Police Wednesday.
The suspects were identified as Noel “Barok” Rojas Maaghop, Robert Detomal Martije, Ian Iñego Monfort, Benson Dayag Adla-on and Elizabeth Rojas Salinas.
They were arrested after they sold a small-sized transparent sachet of suspected shabu to poseur buyer Police Officer 1 Johnny Veroy.
Prior to the operation, Maaghop had an initial transaction with Veroy and agreed to meet at a videoke bar along Rizal Street, where Maaghop was arrested with a big sachet of suspected shabu and marked money.
The four other suspects were arrested after being caught in a pot session.
The suspects are now in the custody of San Pedro Police Station except for Salinas who was brought to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) for leg injuries after attempting to flee during the raid.
