Councilor said Davao's attractions should not be limited to People's Park, the Philippine Eagle conservation park, Malagos garden, Eden resort, Gap farm and the Crocodile farm but should also include lesser known sights that remind Davaoenos of their colorful culture and history.

Davao’s tribute to Bob Marley helps to fight cancer

Joan Soco, former Mutya ng Dabaw, encourages Davaoe?os to support the local music talents during "reggae night" on May 11. The date happens to be the death anniversary of Nesta Robert "Bob" Marley, the British-African reggae musician who brought "mainstream cultural acceptance of reggae music outside of Africa." Various local bands perform at the free concert to celebrate cancer prevention month. Lanikai Resort: Tagum’s heaven by the sea
