The series of earthquakes that struck Lanao del Sur on Sunday, September 24, is estimated to have caused P10 million worth of damages, the province’s Municipal Risk Reduction and Management Office said.
The 5.4-magnitude quake that struck Wao town in Lanao del Sur province on Sunday morning caused 5 cases of minor injuries, totally damaged 4 buildings and partially damaged about 100 houses, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) reported.
A tectonic earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted parts of Bukidnon and Lanao del Sur provinces early morning on Sunday, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvocs) 10.
