Davao City to join first nationwide simulated earthquake drill

The city will serve as a pilot site for the first nationwide simulated earthquake drill, which will be held on June 29 at the University of Mindanao Bolton Campus here.

City engineer says Davao’s high rise buildings are quake-ready

The City Engineer’s Office here said that high-rise buildings in the city are earthquake-ready, pointing out that these buildings could withstand a 7.0 magnitude quake.
