Davao City – A large portion of the city’s south and downtown area will have a ten-hour water interruption starting Tuesday evening (November 5) at 8 pm until Wednesday morning (November 6) at 6 am.
Davao City Water District announced that they will be installing a 250mm diameter gate valve and re-orientation of Discharge Line of Dumoy Production Well No. 11.
Affected areas will be the entire Talomo, Ulas, Bangkal, Matina Aplaya, Matina Crossing, Matina, Langub, Bucana, Ecoland Phase 1 to 7, some areas in Bago Aplaya (Gulf View Executive Homes, Versari Village, Castro Village and Sto. Niño Village), Matina Pangi (3K Compound, NSDS Village and from Matina Crossing to Pangi barangay hall) and Ma-a (from NCCC Mall to Metroville Subd.) in the south.
Also affected in downtown area are Bo. Obrero and Agdao specifically in Wilfredo Aquino, Gov. Vicente Duterte, Leon Garcia Sr., R. Castillo, Ubalde, Lapu-Lapu, San Antonio and Centro.
Other areas will experience low pressure to no water in Pampanga and Sasa and some areas in Panacan (ICSAMA
Sapaha, Panacan Relocation, San Juan Village, Landmark 1, DPWH Depot and Philippine Naval Forces).
DCWD advised residents and consumers to store water for this period; but also said said watter supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly.
