Children from Barangay Blensong, Municipality of North Upi in Maguindanao play and bath in the man-made dam for irrigation serving the farms of the villages of Sitio Suaran and Kabotuyen.
Residents said the dam was only a small fish pond before but it was improved with the help of the National Irrigation Administration during the 1970s to 1980s.
