The Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod yesterday turned the tables on Speaker Prospero C. Nograles and his camp by saying that it sees “no need to resort into playing dirty tricks” given the lead of its candidates as indicated in a number of mock polls and surveys.
Last Tuesday, Nograles’ camp told the incumbent leadership to “stop playing dirty” in its political campaigning.
The Duterte tandem reports that it has been constantly leading surveys and mock polls conducted in schools and by other institutions. Among the latest indicators include the mock polls last March 19 -26 in two Davao City campuses of the University of Mindanao (UM) participated by 5,042 students wherein 83% of them voted for Sara Z. Duterte in the mayoralty post while only 11.8% voted for Nograles. Exactly 88.9% of them also voted Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte for the vice mayoralty post while only 6.2% voted for the running mate of Nograles. Continue reading
