DAVAO CITY – Former Davao City Administrator Wendel Avisado was elected as the new national president of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines last June 17 while Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon was elected as the vice president for Mindanao.
The BSP held its first regular meeting and election of officers at the BSP National Office.
Rellon, who currently sits as the Eastern Mindanao Regional Council Chairman, is the first from Tagum City to be nominated for the BSP national office.
BSP National Officers include Antonio Cerilles as senior vice president, Reinaldo Bautista as vice president for Luzon, Jose Ma. Gastardo as vice president for Visayas, Enrique Lagdameo as national treasurer, Cedrick Train as chief national commissioner, Dale Corvera as international commissioner, and Rogelio Villa, Sr. as the OIC-secretary general.
