Davao del Norte province will have 76 infrastructure projects with a total of P507.525 million fund allocation from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) this year.
Regional Director Mariano Alquiza said that most of the projects to be implemented by the DPWH in the region, including the province of Davao del Norte, is the paving of national roads.
Davao del Norte District Engineer Lorna Ricardo said that 12 projects are now ongoing while the other 54 are still in the procurement stage.
Ricardo said the DPWH implemented 52 projects worth P 714 million in the province last year. Two of which are still on-going including the Liboganon Flood Control project and the renovation and rehabilitation of the District Engineering Office, she said.
