DAVAO CITY – The Davao del Norte provincial government is now busy upgrading its sports complex and preparing the host city for the Palarong Pambansa on May 3 to 9, 2015 in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
The Davao del Norte Tourism and Sports Complex will accommodate 10,000 athletes and officials and is now upgraded with additional football field, tennis and basketball courts.
Governor Rodolfo del Rosario said they are rushing the preparations “to complete the necessary fields to cover up the events.”
He assured that “everything is moving according to schedule” and said all sports events of the 2015 Palarong Pambansa will be held in Tagum City.
Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon said a local committee is formed to coordinate with the provincial government of Davao del Norte for the preparations.
