DAVAO CITY — A business woman reported on Wednesday that her stay-in house helper ran off with P150,000 worth of unauthorized money collections from her clients.
Emily Abis Tago, 32, resident of Ladislawa Garden Village., El Rio, Bacaca this city said her house helper, Lorena Waga, could not be located now but disclosed that she recently discovered how the helper had been secretly making unauthorized transactions with her clients and embezzling the said amount.
She said that the 34-year-old helper was a native of Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte. She said she took two pads of collections receipts containing transactions and two pads of charge invoice, which she used to deal with her clients.
She added that her clients informed her that the woman was spreading negative issues through text messages regarding the “legality” of her business. (davaotoday.com)
