Partylist representatives today called on the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) as well as the telecommunications companies to make all the text messages and calls even the locations of those involved in the Mamasapano operations be made available to the public.
Bayan Muna Representative Neri Colmenares said that the communication exchanged by officials “especially Pres. Benigno Simeon Aquino III, Gen. Allan Purisima, Gen. Getulla Napenas, the SAF commandos and the others from December 1, 2014 to January 27, 2015” should be released.
Colmenares believed the text messages that were released “seem to be screened and the actual text messages of Pres. Aquino and Purisima during the most crucial time of the operation from 8am to 5pm were not released.”
Colmenares said the Mamasapano hearings in Congress should immediately resume “so that the whole truth will come out.”
