DAVAO CITY – Students of the University of the Philippines Mindanao were chosen as finalists in Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) awards.
The recognition was given for the BA Communication Arts student’s project named #IMC or Integrated Marketing Communications Seminar-Workshop held December 12-13 last year.
The students’ #IMC event “offered lessons on the application of consistent brand messaging across traditional and non-traditional marketing channels, and on using different promotional methods to reinforce each other.”
The students promoted their event through press conferences, broadcast radio, social media, and in newspapers, using videos, graphics, and personal appearances.
The University of the Philippines Trend Events (UPTREND) student organization, led by its president, fourth year BA Communication Arts student Nicole Go (4-BA Communication Arts), served as organizer of the event.
They will attend the all-expense-paid Awarding Ceremony on May 25 in Makati City where they could win a national award.
