Priest seeks probe on police chief, military official tagged in Italian missionary slay

Geremia said a witness in their custody narrated that former Arakan Police chief Benjamin Rioflorido was the one who accosted the paramilitary troops who were out to assassinate Tentorio on October 15, 2011.  The paramilitary troops were said to have a sack of firearms and the military’s Capt. Mark Espiritu was allegedly the one who signed to release the firearms.

Duterte was also reportedly incensed over Yu implicating his son, councilor Paolo, in the syndicate, which prompted a call from interior and local government secretary Mar Roxas upon order from President Benigno Aquino III querying on the matter.
