DAVAO CITY – Some 102 students were awarded scholarships by the Davao del Norte provincial government for two related technical-vocation courses that they would take within school year 2015-2016.
The scholars can avail of the scholarship in any institution in the province that are registered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The provincial government would shoulder their school tuition and miscellaneous fees while the students would spend on their uniforms, books and allowances as counterpart.
In a Philippine Information Agency dispatch, Governor Rodolfo Del Rosario said that after the scholars may have earn their certificate of competency from TESDA and land a job, “they can now earn and eventually proceed to baccalaureate degree if they deem so”.
