Group warns child labor is up with Davao City’s economic growth

A child rights group here said it was worried with what it claimed as increasing cases of child labor as the the city is riding high on its economic growth.

A local legislator admits the need for more classrooms for public schools and teachers in the city as the number of enrollees has increased this year.

Davao City indigent funds now spent better

The city government realized better medical and hospitalization assistance to indigents after it struck out accidents and medical emergencies caused by carelessness and failure to observe basic road safety rules.

Palace urged to spend unspent funds for Marawi City to ease poverty in evacuation camps

Recent report of unspent funds for Marawi City has resurrected the anger and frustration of victims, not only of the Marawi City fighting in 2017, but also of the other victims of calamities where billions of funds have been reported coming in from donor nations and private groups but whose actual assistance remained begging for answers as to where it went.
