DAVAO CITY – FM station dxDS – One Radio News FM in Tagum 100.7 MHZ will have its grand launching tomorrow (March 15, Saturday) at Barangay Mankilam, in Tagum City, one of the most progressive cities in Southern Mindanao.
100.7 One Radio NewsFM Tagum is the latest endeavor of Radyo ni Juan network, a group of small community radio stations in the country. It aims to serve quality news and entertainment to its listeners twenty-four hours a day. Powered by a 5,000-watt state-of-the-art transmitter, the new Radyo ni Juan station will have a prime reach in the entire Davao del Norte province and in the nearby Compostela Valley Province.
The grand launching will be graced by key government officials and personalities headed by Governor Rodolfo Del Rosario and Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon.
Local celebrated artist Popong Landero will also lead the smorgasbord of performers which also include Kuntaw – a homegrown local band from Tagum City and Anne Mendoza.
100.7 One Radio NewsFM Tagum is being run by Infomedia Resources Management, Incorporated (Inform) together with Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Broadcasting Corporation (RMCBC), catering the needs of the people for truthful information.
“We aim to contribute in providing the common people-Juans and Juanas- with quality entertainment and relevant information. An informed Juan and Juana is an asset to their community,” said Zea Correa, the Station Manager of One Radio News FM Tagum.
