The Armed Forces of the Philippines discovered several human remains believed to be civilians executed by the Islamic State-linked Maute group and the Abu Sayyaf in Marawi City.
Photos that show these were released by the Joint Task Force Marawi Thursday noon, July 13. Government troops also found that orange shirts were worn by these possible victims of executions.
The Army estimates there are between four to six individuals from the discovered remains.
