DAVAO CITY – A man died in Buhangin Monday after being shot by two unidentified suspects.
The victim who was identified as Eleasar Perdiquez Ababon, Jr. 31, a renter of Zone 4, Saint Jude, Buhangin was shot several times by two men who escaped after the incident.
A witness named Jovelyn Dorado, 23, a resident of same address, said at around 8:30 PM while the victim was walking in the small alley of Zone 4, two men blocked his way.
Dorado described one of the suspects as “chubby, around 5’4 feet tall and was wearing black t-shirt and black pants.” The other one was described as medium built, around 5’7 feet tall in height and was wearing white shirt.
Personnel from Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) led by Police Investigator Lauriano E. Pajente conducted the crime scene investigation and found six gun shot wounds in the body of the victim.
The SOCO also recovered three pieces of fired cartridge case suspected to be .45 caliber pistol.
Buhangin Police Station is still conducting follow-up investigation for the identification and apprehension of the suspects. (Diana C. Tomale/davaotoday.com)
