DAVAO CITY – The Provincial Police Office recently filed charges on Monday against two identified suspects of the killing of Monkayo deputy mayor Fortunato Pedoy.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Compostela Valley Provincial Police director, Police Senior Supt. Albert Ignatius D. Ferro said a murder case was filed against suspects identified as Arnold Ezpanol and Ricky Orbidez.
The suspects were apprehended in a police check point operation in Montevista for possessing a revolver, live ammunition and hand grenade. A case of Illegal Possession of Explosives was filed against the suspects.
The suspects, however, Ferro said, made an “extra judicial confession”, that an alias Edwin provided them a gun and contracted them to kill Pedoy.(davaotoday.com)
