Representatives of Bayan Muna Partylist are gathering congressmen’s signatures calling for the House of Congress probe on the Mamasapano incident to continue.
The House of Representatives will wait until the Board of Inquiry (BOI) finishes its probe on the Mamasapano tragedy before resuming its own hearings.
Representative Neri Colmenares today said the shelving of the probe “is a disservice to the victims of the Mamasapano incident.”
Colmenares said the congress will become a party to the “Malacanang instigated cover up” of the incident.
“We still have a lot of questions especially on [President Benigno Aquino’s] accountability, the US’ participation and the Napeñas video,” Colmenares said.
