DAVAO CITY – Rank-and-file employees of the city government will start to receive a maximum of P20,000 as part of their collective negotiation agreement (CNA) this week, said a city official.
Atty. Tristan Dwight Domingo, assistant administrator of the city, said the members of the Davao City Hall Employees Association (Dachea) will receive incentives according to their length of service from January 1 to December 31 last year.
“For those whose length of service is more than nine months, they will receive 100 percent (of the incentive), 75 percent for six months to nine months, 50 percent for three months up to six months and 25 percent for three months or less,” said Domingo.
He said Dachea’s 2, 689 workers will receive the incentive but the city is yet to make a final list this week.
Domingo said the total amount of the incentive is P54 million and is sourced from the City’s savings from its maintenance, operating and other expenses.
Domingo said job order (JO) employees are not included in the incentive but they “usually receive bonuses from the city.” (davaotoday.com)
