The regional office of the Bureau of Internal Revenue along Bolton Extension Street in Davao City is filled with taxpayers who are catching up with the last day of the manual filing of Income tax returns on Wednesday.
One of the taxpayers expresses dismay after her documents for their cooperative was entered with a different Tax Identification Number (TIN) verification number after she submitted them on Tuesday. This delayed her filing. A staff of the BIR blamed the taxpayer why she put a different TIN verification number, but the taxpayer said it was them who inserted the different number in her files.
