The groups convened for two days and formed Daluyong (wave), the nationwide network of disaster survivors composed of Mindanao calamity survivors namely: Barug Katawhan (Davao Oriental, a typhoon Pablo survivors organization), Indug Kautawan (Compostela Valley, also typhoon Pablo survivors organization, Agaton Survivors (from Caraga Region), Bangon Zamboanga (survivors’ group of the zamboanga seige last year), and Survivors of Sendong Collective (from Cagayan de Oro and Iligan cities); and Visayas survivors namely: People’s Surge (Typhoon Yolanda survivors organization), Bohol Earthquake survivors, Kusog sang Pumuluyo (People’s Strength, Yolanda survivors from Panay), and Ayuda (Alliance of Yolanda Survivors for Development and Assistance, from Cebu).
BOATPEOPLE Some 500 Yolanda survivors riding in 20 boats arrived at the Botanical Garden shore in the University of the Philippines – Tacloban, after travelling for two hours from Basey, Samar.

OCCUPY SAN JUANICO The other group from northern Samar marched and occupied the San Juanico bridge and converged with other survivors at the Capitol of the province of Leyte. Daluyong claimed 5,000 survivors occuped the San Juanico bridge, amid the heavy rains.
