Riparian Forest Corridor in the Panigan-Tamugan Watershed is slated to emerge along the pristine Tamugan River, to preserve its sustainability and potability, according to Mary Ann V. Fuentes, executive director of the Interface Development Interventions (IDIS). This forest corridor is part of the conservation project of the Watershed Management Council (WMC) along the riverbank tributaries to protect its stream sources. To reforest the riverbank areas, Fuentes said it would need to rehabilitate the areas that are already delineated and permanently identified as critical by the Council.
