DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Water District announced on Wednesday that areas in District 2 here will be experiencing water service interruptions starting Friday morning to Saturday evening.
In its advisory posted on Facebook, DCWD said some areas in Cabantian and Communal will experience water interruption starting 9:00 am Friday until 11:00 PM of Saturday.
Affected areas include the portion of Cabantian Road from Holy Trinity Subdivision to Cabantian Barangay Hall, Holy Trinity Subdivision, Countryville Executive Homes, Bacahoa Village, Emilia Homes Subdivision, portion of Ciudad Esperanza, Remedios Heights Subdivision, Priscilla Estates, Cecilia Heights Subdivision, Chula Vista Subdivision, Emily Homes Subdivision, Cabantian Country Homes, Deca Homes Subdivision and Greenland Subdivision. Meanwhile Medical Mission Group Homeowners Association and Puroks 2 and 4 in Communal will also be affected.
DCWD said they will be replacing pumps and motors of Cabantian Production Well No. 1 located in Barangay Communal.
Portions of Cabantian and Communal areas including the area from the junction of Forestal Road to DCWD Cabantian Reservoir, Forestal Road, Dacudao Village, Ramonena Subdivision, The Achievers, Green Orchard, Leonora Garden Heights, Greenland Subdivision Phase 1, Blocks 36-44 of Cabantian Country Homes, portions of Communal Road, Puroks 1-6, Aspen Heights Subdivision, Doña Trinidad, Blue Diamond Village and Green Valley will experience seven hours of water service interruption from 9:00 am of Friday.
DCWD said they will be tapping the Water Distribution Systems of Ilumina Estates in Barangays Communal and Cabantian.
Some portion of Panacan areas will also experience 10 hours water interruptions from 8:00 pm Friday until 6:00 am on Saturday. Affected areas include, portion of CP Garcia National Highway, Tierra Niño Village, San Juan Village, Panacan Relocation II, Doña Caridad Subdivision and De Guzman Village because of the installation of a gate valve at San Juan Village.
