DAVAO CITY – A 39-year-old man was found dead in a comfort room of an apartelle located in Juna Subdivision, Matina.
The victim was identified as Edgar Cabanas Vibo, a construction worker and a resident of Sibulan Beach, Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Investigators disclosed that at around 6:00 AM Saturday (June 20), a security guard discovered the lifeless body of Vibo sitting partially in the floor of the comfort room.
Further investigation states that the victim had a drinking session with his co-workers prior to the incident.
Police said that there were no signs of foul play and believed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.(Diana C. Tomale/davaotoday.com)
