DAVAO CITY – Tricycle drivers in Digos City, Davao del Sur have been asked to help the local Commission on Elections to educate voters and encourage them to vote.
Lawyer Aileen Ferolino-Ampoloquio, city election officer, said the role of the drivers and operators “is very vital in the continuing voters’ registration and mandatory biometrics under Comelec’s No Bio, No Boto policy”.
Comelec Digos City educated the tricycle drivers on the common questions about the mandatory biometrics for voters in a conference held on Thursday morning.
Ampoloquio also asked them to place “No Bio, No Boto” posters in their tricycles. (davaotoday.com)
