DAVAO CITY – The Davao del Sur Electric Cooperative (Dasureco) initiated a tree-planting and coastal clean-up activity in Barangay Aplaya, Digos City on Wednesday.
In a news release from the City of Digos Information Office, Dasureco general manager, Engr. Godofredo Guya said their activity is part of the celebration of the National Electrification Awareness Month. He said the power distributor is committed to protect the environment.
The clean-up drive started early Wednesday morning where participants gathered solid wastes from the coast and planted mangrove trees.
Dasureco is the lone power distributor in the province. (davaotoday.com)
