DAVAO CITY – The number of those admitted due to candy poisoning in Caraga region has decreased to 66, while no deaths are reported, the Department of Health 13 said.
In a Philippine News Agency dispatch, DOH in Caraga said it is still monitoring the food poisoning patients.
The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC) in its latest Situational Report No. 6 on “Food Poisoning In Caraga Region” issued on Sunday (July 12), said a total of 1,925 cases of food poisoning was reported.
1,859 of the patients had been discharged from confinement at the various medical facilities where they had been confined, and only 66 individuals remained in admission at the hospitals and clinics in the region, according to the latest update from the regional disaster risk and management council.
