The maternity benefits of Philippine Health Insurance (Philhealth) are now expanded to “unlimited birth or deliveries”.
PhilHealth previously caters up to fourth delivery only.
Social insurance officer, Kleah Gayle Dublin said the agency has strengthened it’s maternity-benefits to “unlimited birth or deliveries which is now covered by PhilHealth regardless of parity.”
Parity refers to the number of live-born children and stillbirths that have been delivered by the mother.
