DAVAO CITY – Police authorities found a decapitated head of a woman Tuesday.
The head of the woman was found around 60 meters from where the body was recovered on Monday noon in a grassy area in Sta. Cruz Avenue, Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City.
Police investigations estimated that the victim ages 35 to 45 years old and stands 5’0 to 5’2 feet in height. The woman was wearing a gray shorts and white shirt.
In an interview with Radyo ni Juan Tagum, witness Jay Mark Amesora, 22 years old, said he saw the head wrapped inside a yellow cellophane at around 10:30 in the morning Tuesday while he was cutting grass (nanghagbas) in the area.
The victim also bore a stab wound on her left chest. Police Inspector Anjanette Tirador, chief of Tagum City Police’s Investigation Unit said they are still investigating the motive of the crime.
