A 39-year old woman from Sultan Kudarat was victimized by a thief inside a mall along Apokon Road, Tagum City afternoon Thursday.
The victim, identified as Lenie Castor Anasan, submitted the close cirquit television (CCTV) footage of the incident herself to the authorities at Tagum City Police Office. Anasan said that she was with her husband eating at the ground floor of the mall when they noticed a male around 40-years old and accompanied by a little girl aged 3 to 4 years old.
The two were reportedly seated three tables away from her and her husband. The child moved to the table next to them.
Anasan said she went to the wash her hands but upon her return to their table her black sling bag was already missing.
Chief Investigator Anjanette Tirador said they are still establishing if the suspect used the minor in the incident.
