Davao City- Two woman were caught during a buy-bust operation by the authorities from the Sta. Ana Police Station Wednesday (Feb.3) night.
The suspects were identified as Aiza Sulta Amer, 47, and Sittie Sultan Camama, 46 who were caught after a buy-bust operation was conducted in their house at Purok 4, Miniforest, Barangay. 23-C, Davao City around 8 pm.
Seized from the suspects were 18 different sizes of sachets of shabu and a white plastic container.
Also recovered were two (2) pieces of Php 1,000 marked money used during the operation.
The suspects are now detained at the Sta. Ana Police Station while facing possible charges for violating R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Last year, the use of drugs dropped down by two percent from 1,584 to 1,550 reportedly due to intensified efforts by the local government in tracking down and curbing the number of drug violators in the city.
