Seven netizens won awards in the first online photography contest launched by Davao Light and Power Company (DLPC).
The winners were Mark Sindao, Joan Guinoo, Kevin Joven, Lerma Mae Alingalan, Noel Capute, D.G. Bonn Vincent Sombrio, and Jireh Bacarro.
The contest ran on a weekly basis and had a total of seven themes: What if electricity was never invented; practicing electrical safety ; sustainability; Davao Light at work; customer service; electrical safety and energy conservation.
According to Rossano Luga Assistant Vice President for DLPC’s Reputation Enhancement Department, “the contest was aimed at creating awareness on the electric industry as well as promoting sustainable and safety use of electricity.”
