Charismatic invites drawing enthusiasts, cash prizes awaits winners

DAVAO CITY — A poster-making competition is one of this years pre-anniversary competitions to drumbeat the upcoming 28th year celebration of the Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement of Davao themed as the Healing Power of Jesus, October 21, 8am-8 pm at the Holy Cross of Davao College gym (former CYO gym).

The contest shall have three categories: schools/students, parishes/parishioners and transparochial communities.

For school category, it shall be opened for high school and college students; parishes open for high school or college students or out of school youth and transparochial communities open for college, undergraduate and graduate level.

Theme for the elimination round shall be given during the orientation on October 2 (Friday).

Each category shall have winners: Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up. Each shall be awarded with cash prize and medal.

Contestants shall be given two hours (2 hrs.) to finish their entries. Theme shall be given on the day of the competition.

Only cray pas or pastel shall be used as medium for the competition. Participants must bring their own cray pas/pastel.

The criteria for judging include (1) Relevance to the theme: 30%, (2) Artistry: 30%, (3) Impact: 20%, and (4) Organization/Presentation: 20%.

Awarding of winners shall be done at the end of the day, together with the other winners of other competitions.
