House Speaker Prospero Nograles and his son and chief-of-staff lawyer Karlo Nograles yesterday belittled the verbal attacks hurled against them by Vice Mayor Sara Dutere during the Gikan sa Masa Para sa Masa television program Sunday.
“Duterte should face the charges like a real man,” Nograles said as he pointed out that it should have been Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who came out in the city government’s television program to address the filing of plunder charges against him last Thursday.
The case was filed by lawyer Pedro Domingo, who said he was with the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG).
Domingo cited the findings of the Commission on Audit on the alleged failure of the Duterte administration to account for properties and equipment during a four-year period. Continue reading
