House Speaker Prospero C. Nograles pulled away from rivals in the Davao City mayoral contest, expanding his lead to 14% over his closest pursuer based on the latest findings of the The Issues and Advocacy Center (The Center).
The Center said 44% or 1,056 respondents out of the 2,400 respondents polled from April 10 to 18 said they will vote for Nograles if the elections are held within the period covered by the survey. Only 30% or 720 respondents said they will vote for Sara Duterte, the Speaker’s closest rival in the race.
Ed M. Malay, director of The Center, said respondents to the new survey came from all demographic sectors. It has a margin of error of + 2.8% and a confidence level of in excess of 95%. Continue reading
