STRICT CHECKING AT MALLS
A long queue of shoppers passed through metal detectors and individual check of their bags as part of tighter security measures in Gaisano Mall of Davao along JP Laurel Avenue. The new procedures started days after the mall’s cinema was struck by an improvised bomb last Monday, along with Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s order for public establishments to have tighter and improved security measures.
