TAGUM CITY, Philippines — The provincial officials of Davao del Norte has launched the Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) 2016-2019 as a tool to achieve the vision and development goals of the province.
Davao del Norte Governor Anthony del Rosario and Vice Gov. Alan Dujali led the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in signing the ELA Thursday, Nov. 15.
The ELA, according to an information dispatch, “contains the major development thrusts and priorities of both the executive and legislative branches in the next three years.”
“We have vowed to… further build human capabilities and create an enabling environment for our people to enjoy long, healthy and creative lives amid the backdrop of an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world,” Del Rosario said.
For his part, Dujali said the Sangguniang Panlalawigan will craft appropriate legislations and provide policy support to the thrust and priorities detailed in the ELA. (davaotoday.com)
