The Davao City Police Office has a campaign for summer break and the Holy Week dubbed as “Ligtas Summer Vacation”, an official announced on Wednesday.
Davao City Police Office spokesperson Senior Insp. Milgrace Driz said the campaign has already started and will last until June.
“We will be securing the hotspots, especially tourist attractions with beaches. We will also be securing and deploying personnel in areas along the highway,” Driz said.
She added that there wil be a police assisstance center in the highways along with the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) and other agencies.
During the Holy Week, Driz said they will be deploying personnel to different churches and places of convergence.
The DCPO is also preparing for the upcoming National Convention of Prosecutors on April 8.
